Ciarán Brady’s expertise in the Pharmaceutical Healthcare industry comes from over 25 years’ experience in all areas of the sector. Leading Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Quality Systems in major companies like GSK, Schering and Oral B means the level of skill and knowledge Ciarán has accumulated is exceptional.
As a senior manager in the Finished Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Distribution area he has extensive working knowledge of FDA and EU requirements and also of GMP & GDP and how a safe and compliant supply chain should operate in practice.

He helps companies and individuals, in a continual compliance journey from manufacturer to patient, stay at the top of their profession. He maintains an excellent relationship with the HPRA (formerly Irish Medicines Board) and MHRA and is an expert on the practical implementation of regulations and how to correct deficiencies to satisfy regulators.

Ciarán is director of PLS Pharma, a thriving consulting and training organisation. Since 2004 the company has been providing Consulting, Training in Good Distribution Practice and Responsible Person Training for wholesalers and manufacturers, Advice and Inspection/Facility reviews to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and allied sectors. PLS Pharma were the first, and are the largest provider of Responsible Person (RP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) training courses in Ireland. Ciarán has trained the largest number of RPs and DRPs in the UK and Ireland.
In November 2016, PLS Pharma hosted the first ever RP Forum in Europe, to provide an opportunity for RPs and their deputies to engage and network, share knowledge, experience and best practice. The forum was supported by the HPRA who presented on the regulator’s perspective of the Responsible Person role, responsibilities and best practice. With our partners, RSSL Pharma (servicing the UK & EU markets), PLS Pharma are the premier providers of RP and GDP training and served on the committee advising on the RP Gold Training Standard.

Ciarán currently lectures on some 3rd level Pharmaceutical courses.
Ciarán also currently works as a contract RP / deputy on regulatory licences on a number of large multinational pharmaceutical companies so is up to date on regulatory requirements and GDP inspection expectations.
